We are pleased to welcome you to the Northgate Ward Relief Society Blog!
We are so excited to begin using this technology to establish and strengthen connections with each other as Sisters in Relief Society. Our Ward boundaries have recently changed, and for many of us it's been difficult to leave our friends in other Wards and venture to an unknown place with unfamiliar names and faces. It's extremely daunting! We need more than ever to be able to draw strength from one another and find a common ground on which we can stand firm.
So, whether you choose to wear the label of 'new move-in' or 'old & stayed put' (really? does anyone ever get old?), or 'single', or 'married', or 'mother with young children underfoot', or 'mother with grown children underfoot', or 'working mother', or 'stay-at-home mother', or 'student', or 'involved in Primary', or 'serve in Young Women', or 'work in Nursery', you are part of our Relief Society sisterhood and you are Important, and Valued, and Needed, and Loved!
Join us as we work together to draw closer to each other by sharing our faith, strengthening our families, and serving those in need, as Sisters in Zion.
Warmly,
Cindy White, President
Laura Sustaita, 1st Counselor
Wendy Bringhurst, 2nd Counselor
Lisa Campbell, Secretary
