Super Saturday Items Ready to Order

REMINDER: Payment for Super Saturday classes/crafts due to Julie Cummings no later than THIS SUNDAY 10/10. You can make checks out to her.

Here's a quick peek at items ready to order for our Super Saturday coming up on October 16th from 8 am to 2 pm at the Black Forest building!

POTLUCK LUNCH
We will be having lunch in between all of our fun. Potluck soup and salad luncheon at 12pm. No need to sign up for classes to come, have lunch, and just visit! Bring desserts last name A-H, salads I-P, and soups Q-Z.

CLASSES

Bread Class: Free

Taught by Cindy White from 11am-12pm. Want to make better dinner rolls? How about Italian bread? Come and learn how to make a holiday tea ring!





Make & Take Freezer Dinners: $12 to $14 per meal

Taught by Paula Hubert after lunch 1pm. Get some great ideas on freezing meals and Paula will guide you as you assemble your meals. Come and make 1 or more meal.

Cheese & Spinach Manicotti $14.00

Oven-Fried Chicken Chimichangas $12.00

Both dishes should each feed a family of 6. Please email Wendy at ak2twins@msn.com and let her know how many and which meals you want by Oct 10th. Ingredients, pan and foil included.


72-hour Emergency Kit in a Can: $6.25 per kit

Supervised by Nancy Provolt. Each kit contains can, lid, food for three days. Food includes: oatmeal, soup, fruit, jerky, hot choc, gum, granola bars, cider, fruit snack. These will be dry pack canned that day at super Saturday in a #10 can and lid provided. You just need to add a couple gallons of water and you should be good to go in an emergency as far as food and water goes!

Temple Photo (or any photo) Block: $1.50

Wood provided, black or dark chocolaty brown paint provided, ribbon provided, modge podge and sand paper provided as well at antiquing ink.
Please bring photo and any other paint color you would want. If you want to bring your own ribbon, we can refund 50 cents.

You can use any photo or go to this site http://www.lilluna.com/2010/07/tutorial-tuesday-temple-block-im-going.html and print any other temple photo you want. (permission granted) Follow those instructions on how to re-size and print the photo.

If you want no sayings on your temple photo, then click here http://www.lilluna.com/2010/07/by-popular-demand.html to choose a photo you want and you can even add your own saying like: Bringhurst est 1989 or Forever Families or Keep on Truckin' etc.

You will want to bring the photo in about 4x6 size. Thinner photo paper will work best.

If you have conflicts trying to print the photo, it can be printed for you if you let us know what you want. It will cost an extra .25cents. Please email Wendy at ak2twins@msn.com to let her know how many you will make by Oct 10th. Class supervised by Christal Glaspy.


Scrabble Tile Necklaces: $1.25

Make and take these cute little necklaces. The only thing you need is decorative paper. The smaller detail prints, the better. You can download papers from an Etsy shop if you search for scrabble tile designs. All other materials provided, including the chain. Taught by Anna Pazsoldan.

"Bless Our Home" Board: $7.00





This "Bless Our Home" board is 8"x18". There are three 4"x4" tiles. Vinyl lettering is brown. All materials provided except for ribbon to hang it. You choose your own style and color, holes will be drilled. If you want acrylic paint other than black or dark brown, please bring it. All vinyl is med brown. Please email Wendy at ak2twins@msn.com no later than Oct 10th to order. A 50 cent refund can be given if you bring your own paint.


Christmas Board: $12.00


There is a limit of two per person on this board. Board is about 10"x20". All materials included. Black or dark brown paint is provided, bring any other acrylic paint color you desire. A 50 cent refund can be given if you bring your own paint. Vinyl lettering is med brown in color. This photo has the metal star missing that goes in the rounded part of the wood. Photo will be updated when the star comes in the mail. If you want to see a sample of this board with the similar star, click here.

Easy Sewing Burp Rag: $12 for 2

Make baby burp cloths they way you want them. You can use a cloth diaper for the base, or bring coordinating fabrics for both the front and back, or sign up for a pre-cut kit to make a set of 2. Taught by Stefani Martuscello.

If you bring your own fabric, here is what you need:


  • 1/4 yard of patterned fabric (cotton or flannel)

  • 1/4 yard of soft, solid color fabric

  • At least 24” of decorative ribbon (optional)

  • Sewing thread to match or contrast with the material

  • Sewing machine (may already be set up at church)



Recipe/Photo Holder: only $1 each!

Makes a great neighbor/teacher gift! These are small tiles stamped, baked and then sprayed. Then they are glued onto a clothes pin. They stand upright on a desk or cupboard. Come early - between 8 and 10 am - on Super Saturday to make these. Taught by Megan Brown.
