A Season of Gratitude and Gatherings

Dear Sisters,
Now begins the time of year where our hearts are warmed with thoughts of family, gratitude, blessings, and the gift of our Savior. There is no way we can express to you all our deep gratitude for the many ways you serve each other. You are Christ’s hands as you bring over bread & cookies, tend each other’s children, call to cheer up a friend, go to the temple, prepare meals for families in need--- we could go on and on for all the acts of kindness and sisterhood you have shown to one another. We are so thankful to have all of you serving each other with such willing hearts!

We are also aware of many Sisters whose hearts and minds are weighed heavy at this time of year with burdens of financial stress, health concerns, or unemployment fears. If you know you will be here over Thanksgiving or Christmas, one of the most wonderful things you may want to consider is to invite a family (or two-- or three!) into your home to share the joy of the holiday. This is a time for us to gather together as family—please welcome members of our ward family in your gatherings. Let no one be lonely or forgotten this season.

Visiting Teachers- this is also a time to remember the special stewardship you have over your Sisters. Call them. Visit them. Find out if they have plans to be with family or not. Please, please, please make your visits early and if you find any of your Sisters in need, please contact our RS President, Sister Cindy White ASAP.

With much gratitude for all of you,
Northgate RS Presidency
